Happy hour prices are pretty good too, with 0.5 pint costing $6 and 1 pint costing $10. The house wines start at $8 per glass, and drinks also come with dark olives and peanuts. If you're feeling peckish and want some bar grub, they have croque monsieurs, escargot and cheese platters which are pretty good, especially with hot bread rolls.
The escargot ($18 for 9 pieces and bread on the side), dripping with garlic and herb butter, is absolutely yummy after a long day.
Le Carillon De L'Angelus, 24 Ann Siang Road, Tel: 6423 0353
Post note: They've increased the prices since, so the escargot now costs $24 for the same serve.
