Miscellanous food and travel shots from Brussels/London

Some last shots from the trip:

Cherry blossoms outside Southwark Cathedral, London

The Grand Place on a lovely sunny morning
Looking like a good lunch deal

La Cure Gourmande - we found this shop in Ile de la Cite in Paris in June last year, and again in Porto airport in Sept last year. So excited to see it in Brussels! Lovely biscuits and chocolates, bringing us back to the days when were were literally kids in a candy store.

The shop decor makes you want to buy everything

Happy bird cos no pigs around

Lovely decor in the shop window of a chocolate shop. All decked out for easter.

Easter eggs everywhere

Giant macaron from Paul

Window displays that call out to you to enter the shop and buy - anything

Random pain au chocolat from a random supermarket. Simply good.

Mussels in a tomato concasse from Chez Leon

Belgian waffle from Leon - decent but not terribly exciting

Waffles on display in the tourist area - this shop was really good. The husband went back twice.

Galleries St Hubert

xxx beer bottles hanging on the wall
Art deco facades

Congress column in Brussels at sunset

Over and out from Brussels!
