It's been a while since I had a good bowl of noodles - a former colleague brought me to Hong Lim early one morning for breakfast before work, and introduced me to this stall on the second storey. It's run by an old mandarin/dialect-speaking couple, which felt good, like the good ol days before recent migrants took over hawker stalls.

It was a simple $3 bowl of dry mee pok, and it wasn't super vinegary or porklardoil-ish, but it was just plain good comfort food.

Good springy texture.
